AFC, anti-friction coating is surface coatings which prevent the friction and provide slipperiness. The objective is to decrease the negative and damaging effects of dynamic force coming to the surface by reducing the coefficient of the friction as possible at moving surfaces.In case, if the speed at the working system, and oil film occuring with oil viscosity and surface geometry are insufficient to lift the weight carrying on the system, hydrodynamic lubrication conditions can not be ensured and surface contact inevitably becomes.

Reducing the coefficient friction and prevents the damages are not possible, by separating the oil film and surfaces from each other effectively at very high load, low or medium speed working systems.
In this case, AFC (dry / slick Film Lubrication Coating) technology make excellent results at mentioned systems.In such cases, hardening the surfaces is not a solution certainly, because it does not prevent the material loss and not decrease the friction and accordingly energy losses.

- - In gears: Gears may be faced with very big and variable loadings because of their structure.
Many conventional type of liquid or grease lubricant can not prevent damages on the gear on their own.The properties can reach to the serious problems under variable loadings and at running-in periods.AFC reduces the abrasion problems providing the slickness and protection on the gear surfaces.Especially, it is the most effective solution for the various abrasions.
- - Pins and bushings: Damages can be occured often at these types of elements , because of the insufficient lubrication. Generally, selecting more soft one of the pins or bushings is wasted. But AFC coating prevents the negative effects of the high load and excessive abrasion at both pin and bushing sides separately.Thus, both equipments are protected.
- - Chain elements: Chain oils working at the dusty and dirty lose the lubrication properties at a high proportion .AFC coatings prevent these kind of problems, because of their dry lubrication properties.

- - Sliding elements: Sliding lamas on each-other, centering pins or lock-type crossbars can be started to work spaced and tensioned within long-term due to the wears.This is a diffucult case to control without loss accurately, but it is not impossible. Desired efficiency can be achieved exceedingly with the usage of AFC.
